Christmas Celebration continues

Day Two , our joyous celebration of the Lord’s birth, day two comes with another gift from our Father in heaven ( our true love in the song). Our Christmas Celebration continues.

Traditional Version

“On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me, two turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree.”

Two Turtle doves are our true love’s gift. Legend or myth has that it was code for the old and new testaments. That early Christians used the song to share their faith without detection. Many have debunked these myths though, in their own theories.

Our Christmas Celebration continues

Day two is an exciting time to continue in the glow of love that Christmas brings to most. But it also brings a wide array of emotions, from the highs of a celebration to the lows that emptiness can bring. Day two is a perfect time to reflect on your relationship with God. For He is the reason of the season, Jesus’s birth. It may be time to acquaint yourself with Jesus or expand your relationship with him.

For millions of people the day after Christmas, day two , it’s a day of returning gifts that didn’t work out, to yet millions more its the day of dealing with those who return those gifts. I urge everyone to receive the gift of Christ, Jesus, the chosen one to save the world. He will fit that emptiness inside, making your celebration truly one for the ages.

Giving is better than receiving, Jesus gives the perfect gift.
