When the idea to celebrate twelve days of Christmas first came to mind, I didn’t realize that the original celebration traditionally STARTED on Christmas day. This European Christian celebration began many centuries ago, and doesn’t it seem like a fun way to continue the celebration of Jesus birth—for another eleven days (it should be celebrated everyday, at least in our spirits).
Look for the first to begin Christmas Day! The day our LORD became man.
I hope you enjoy this full rendition of The 12 days of Christmas, YouTube has many others, some spoofs, and other traditional renditions.
In some circles, so goes the myth, the song and celebration are linked by some sort of code. But many have theoretically debunked those theories, still, your guess would be as good as mine. Having said that, I will be posting a series of posts to celebrate Christmas, and the eleven days following. Join me beginning Christmas day in my celebration.

I look forward to celebrating Christmas with you, our Christ’s birth. The world celebrates while awaiting its redeemer, Lord of Lords, King of Kings. Jesus savior of all, fully God, fully man.
