How It Works
Choose the treasure you want to make in the Broken Sanctuary Vault. Beside each treasure is a clue. The clue will lead you to a chapter, paragraph, sentence, and word in the novel. That hidden word is the password that unlocks your treasure.
Read or scan the book for the password matching your chosen project to download your treasure!
- Start with the free Chapter One preview at BrokenSanctuary.com or with your own copy of the novel.
- Follow the clue. The clue may tell you to look in a certain chapter, paragraph, line, sentence, or part of the story.
- Find the hidden word.
- Enter the word as your password.
- Unlock your special project and follow instructions.
- Make your own piece of Peckles-Wood Shire.
The first file is 8 × 8-inch design for making your own T-shirts or other printed projects. You decide. Check back often! New files are added at the top of the list.

A New Hunt Every Two Weeks
Each new hunt will bring another design, character, place, or treasure to discover and make. The newest hunt will appear at the top. Older hunts will stay below, so you can look back and find your favorite. Share them with a friend, there’s plenty for everyone.
Be sure to check back as you read each novel, the hunt is on. Special days are coming, starting November 5th, passwords will be set aside, for everyone to enjoy Peckles-Wood Shire treasure. These special days are Super Saturdays and My Mondays.
The Illustrator’s Vision—The maps and illustrations of Peckles-Wood Shire are inspired by the real landscapes, places, and traditions of Victorian Northumberland. Created for The Chronicles of Peckles-Wood Shire, they blend historical research with imagination to bring the world of Broken Sanctuary to life and invite young explorers to step into the Whitaker family’s adventure of 1885.
