In church today the Pastor misstated a major moment in history, saying the Israelites left Egypt as paupers during their exodus. In fact, scripture says they plundered the Egyptians of their gold and silver and then left with large flocks and herds of livestock too, because God gave them favor in the sight of the Egyptians. (Exodus 12:33-39)
What would you do, he was filling in, not our regular pastor? Would you speak to the regular pastor, or let it go? Should we turn a blind eye to scripture being misrepresented?
To me the bible and all that is written in it are true, every jot and tittle shall be fulfilled. I think a blind leads to a weakening and watering down gospel. What’s your take? Leave me a comment or email me @leewimmer.net@gmail.com
