Purelings™ are pure, without knowledge of the world or the fears, doubts, and troubles that come with it. They know only what belongs to the Beginning, unless they become worldly-wise.
And that is when everything can change.
They can talk.
Griff speaks freely with people and other beings. He is curious about the world around him, yet he has no understanding of the fear that belongs to those who have become worldly-wise.
Griff doesn’t know what it means to be afraid.
